From downtown Athens, take North Ave. Proceed over the Loop 10 bypass. Stay in the right lane for about a mile and turn right onto Hull Road. Go straight through the intersection of Hull Road and Hwy 29 North. Hull Road becomes Hwy 72 East.

Stay on Hwy 72 East to Colbert. Turn right at 4th St. (main intersection in Colbert) and proceed to 8th Ave. Turn left on 8th Ave. This street becomes Crawford Smithonia Road. Stay on Crawford Smithonia Road until you reach the 4-way stop. Turn right. The main gate to Tucker Plantation is on the right, just past the three brick barns. Approximate trip time - 20 minutes from Athens.
